Q: What's PIN? What is PIN used for?

A: UKey's PIN (Personal Identification Number), it's similar as the PIN function of the bank card or the credit card, it has very high security level, only after validated the correct PIN, user can use the UKey to proceed the data encryption, decryption and the identity authentication function. After setup the PIN, nobody can use UKey without having the PIN. After continuously inputting five times wrong PIN, the UKey will be locked; it effectually prevents other from endless trial. Also you can set up two classes of PIN for management: Master PIN and User PIN. Once you unconsciously lock the user PIN, you may use UKey by validating the Master PIN, also to unlock the User PIN.

Q: If I forget the pin of my ukey or I try more than the limited times, what shall I do

A: UKey has two classes PIN for management: Master PIN and the User PIN. If the user has continuously wrongly input the PIN that exceeds the stipulated times, UKey can't be used any more. If the user unconsciously locked the User PIN, it can by validating the Master PIN to unlock the User PIN. In case the Master PIN has been locked, now you need to contact the supplier or the management personnel to unlock. Please do bring your purchasing invoice or products guarantee card to confirm your identification.
